<p>These scrumptious squares were the rave at our home growing up after a family friend shared the recipe.  These might be the best treat you’ll ever make.</p>
<p>Crust Ingredients:</p>
<ul>
<li>½ cup flour</li>
<li>¾ cup Rice Krispies</li>
<li>¼ tsp. baking soda</li>
<li>pinch salt</li>
<li>1/3 cup brown sugar</li>
<li>1/3 cup melted butter</li>
</ul>
<p>Preheat oven to 350 F.  Blend above ingredients and press into the bottom of a 8”x8” pan.  Bake for 10 minutes.</p>
<p>Caramely-Goey Layer Ingredients:</p>
<ul>
<li>1-14 ounce can of condensed milk</li>
<li>½ cup butter</li>
<li>½ cup brown sugar</li>
</ul>
<p>Bring above ingredients to a boil in a medium sauce pan over medium-high heat.  Boil 5 minutes, stirring once in a while.  Pour the mixture over the baked crust.</p>
<p>Toping Ingredients:</p>
<ul>
<li>½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chip</li>
<li>1 ¼ cups Rice Krispies</li>
</ul>
<p>Melt the chocolate and incorporate the Rice Krispies.  Sprinkle over the caramel mixture.</p>
<p>Refrigerate at least 12 hours.</p>
<p>Makes 9 large squares.</p>
