With the holiday around the corner, many of us will be making deviled eggs for parties. What the best part of deviled eggs? Eating them. What’s the worst part of deviled eggs, peeling them! The is where Negg comes in handy.

About Negg ®

The Negg hard-boiled egg peeler provides a solution to avoid disastrous egg shell scenarios. Thanks to entrepreneurs Bonnie Tyler and Sheila Torgan, peeling eggs can be fast, easy and fun with the. Like most new concepts, the inspiration came from a moment of frustration. Bonnie agreed to bring a dozen deviled eggs to a party and was growing increasingly frustrated as she fought to remove the shells. She initially thought her invention would be a part-time hobby, but it’s turned into a booming business and her full-time job.

Made of BPA-free materials, and available in 6 vibrant colors, the NEGG is proudly made in America. A little cold water and some shaking is all it takes for this hard-boiled egg peeler to work.

How to Get your Negg

There’s free domestic shipping on orders of $15 or more when buying directly via Negg on its website. For last minute holiday presents, I’ve found it on Amazon with Prime available. Perfect stocking stuffer at a low cost of $15 for folks on keto diets too!

Kitchen Tip – Beating the Cling Wrap Roll

Cling Wrap TipSometimes it’s the little things that make a difference to a lifetime of small frustrations. Just last year, after decades in the kitchen, I discovered the two red circles on each end of the cling wrap and foil boxes. Yes, this seems simple enough and I should have noticed them years ago, but I just hadn’t.

I’m publishing this very handy kitchen tip in case some of you, like me, don’t know about the easiest trick in the kitchen.

Please comment and let me know I wasn’t alone in not knowing this!!

Cheers,

Veronique

Kitchen Tip – Getting Ketchup Out of the Bottle

While I thought everyone knew this helpful tip already, I was just speaking to a friend who didn’t, so I’m sharing as we’re right in grilling season and this might come handy!

For glass bottles of Heinz Ketchup, the smart folks at Heinz added a tiny “57” in the glass directly above the label. There’s a reason for that embossed little number!

How to get Ketchup out of a glass bottle, the proper way:

  1. Angle the bottle down with the opening at what would be 4 o’clock.
  2. Identify the tiny “57” embossed in the bottle.
  3. With the palm of your hand, hit the bottle directly over the tiny “57”.
  4. Ketchup out – no mess!

Enjoy!
